Last night 18 year old Stefania Fernandez took home the Miss Universe Paegent 2009 Crown. This is the second year in a row that the title of "Miss Universe" has been taken by Miss Venezuela as last years winner was also Miss Venezuela - Dayana Mendoza. Since she won her crown pictures of her have hit the web and have everyone online whether they want to or not knows about it. That's what social media's all about right? Stefania Fernandez and her "predecessor" Dayana Mendoza exchanged in some light portuguese gestures when she took her crown. Stefania managed to get right through defeating finalists from countries such as Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Australia and Kosovo for the crown.
Thankfully her performance was nothing like the, you could say "brave" American Heidi Montag who took to the stage and performed a low class remake of something right out of Britney Spears video from five years ago. The show from Heidi Montag was so bad infact that NBC producers decided to cut it's live showing time to just half of it's actual length. The video which hit the web and went viral struck viewers everywhere and has become one of today's top searches on Google.
Everyone wants to know what the hell went wrong and why the MTV star performed such a crap show that to use her name in the entertainment industry will become taboo.
